I appreciate this quote as there are times it is difficult to look squarely in the mirror and soberly assess what one sees. Self-deprecation is not the answer but nor is an inflated sense of self. Growth, healthy change comes through taking honest stock of the condition of one’s soul. Raising our quality of life comes first from within.
